New LN-3 Seagull amphibian aircraft
Seagull is a high wing amphibian homebuilt aircraft intended for the kitplane market or as ready aircraft for the UL (ultra light) or LSA (Light sport aviation) markets. The tests of Seagull proceed in extreme harsh winter conditions in Sweden with excellent results exept that landing gear became frozen and impossible to unfold. That did certainly increase the temperature in the pilots seat remarkable. The Seagull is aimed to be specially versatile and did not disappoint the designers. The pilot decided to land in the snow with retracted gears. The landing succeeded without a scratch on the airplane.
